Since 2013, Ting Ting has been online with her blog “Ting Ting’s Nest” and reports on her experiences and discoveries in China. The author was born and raised in Germany. Her parents are native Chinese and, not least for this reason, she enjoys traveling to her home country. She moved to China with her Chinese husband in 2012 for five years. It was during this time that her website came about. Since China is still an absolutely foreign country to many Germans, her wish was to bring the authentic China, such as life there, the culture, the people and the food, closer to German readers.
