The preparation:

  1. If you are using sugar, bring the water to a simmer with the sugar until it is completely dissolved. If you are using an alternative sweetener, allow it to dissolve as well. If the water has become too hot, cool it slightly in the refrigerator.

  2. Now stir in the matcha powder. Stir well and do not allow any lumps to form.

  3. Cut about 5 thick slices of a lemon and chop them slightly.

    Is it as hot for you as it is for me? Now the time is starting again when the heat draws every drop of water out of your body. Especially me in my attic apartment, I also suffer on hot days after work. This fruity and refreshing lemonade is the perfect solution. The matcha powder rounds off the drink with a delicious matcha green tea flavor. Crushed or cubed ice? Either is fine, I prefer crushed ice because it gives off the cold faster:)

    Sugar is replaceable

    Sure, many things taste better with sugar, especially the sweet things. But since I also like to avoid sugar, I usually replace it in this drink with honey or liquid sweetener. If you replace the sugar, the lemonade has virtually no calories. Except for the few that are in the lemon.
